Elevate your wildlife photography

About Speaker

Karen Doody began her photography career in 2000 working as an underwater photographer in Mexico. Her underwater images have been published in dive magazines and featured in advertising campaigns worldwide. In 2010 the desire to create beautiful images led her back to North Carolina where her business, Karen Doody Photography, specializes in weddings.

In 2019, she created The Wild Doody, her wildlife and nature photography brand to weave together her longtime passion for wildlife photography, travel and workshop education. Her goal is to share her experience in the field photographing wildlife and landscapes that go beyond the “got ya shots” and capture images that tell a story and create awe in the viewer.

She earned her Master of Photography, and Master of Wedding Photography and Craftsman through Professional Photographers of America. She is also a member of the American Society of Photographers and Professional Photographers of North Carolina.
