Betsy Bird

Photographing Horses for Non-Equine Photographers

About The Speaker

Betsy Bird of Ride the Sky Equine Photography spends her days doing insane things to make horses look at her. Clearly, she’s desperate for attention.

Outside of acting like a total weirdo, she invests in growing her business, mentoring aspiring equine photographers, dealing with her teenagers’ angst, and planning her next big adventure. She’s also been known to totally geek out about things like spreadsheets, workflows, and Nitro, the best dog ever.

A lifelong entrepreneur with a background in marketing, branding, and IPS, Betsy is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and a member of the Equine Photographers Network.

Betsy specializes in creating storytelling magic for horse girls of all ages. She enjoys working with fun-spirited clients who desire horse portraits, equestrian senior, and equestrian brand photography. Betsy is based in Chattanooga, TN.
