  $210  $25 ACTIVE: Individuals who are residents of NC actively engaged in the profession of photography or individuals who offer services to photographers. Active Members shall have the right to hold office in the association and have equal voting rights together with Life Members. All Active Members must be of legal age. 
  $75  $25 RETIRED: Individuals who are retired from the profession of photography. 
  $75  STUDENT: Individuals who are residents of North Carolina, full-time students enrolled in a recognized college or university, and who can provide student identification. Student members have no voting rights, nor the right to hold office. Initiation fee will be waived for the Student category. Student members are eligible to attend PPNC Annual Convention providing they work in the print salon under the guidance and supervision of the Print Salon Chairman. 
  $175  $25 ASPIRING: Individuals who are residents of NC and are considering the profession of photography as a full-time or part-time career. This membership does not require a NC Sales Tax Number or a NC Privilege License number, but since the state of North Carolina does require these licenses, it is strongly suggested that you secure them ASAP. In order to continue your membership in PPNC past two years you will have to have them. Membership in this category is for TWO YEARS ONLY. At the end of two years, the member must switch to an active membership as long as they satisfy the requirements. Members can only be an aspiring member one time. Aspiring members have no voting rights and do not have the right to hold office, but are entitled to the other activities and benefits.  
  $165  $25 ASSOCIATE: Individuals who are residents of NC and employed by an Active Member of PPNC in a partnership or a corporation. Associate Members have no voting rights, nor the right to hold office, but are entitled to other activities and benefits. 
  $195  $25 OUT-OF-STATE: Professional Photographers employed outside of the state of NC, who are interested in the growth and development of the PPNC. Out of State Members have no voting rights, nor the right to hold office, It is recommended and encouraged that Out-Of-State members join the state association where they are located if located within the territory of the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association. Final Classification category at the discretion of the PPNC Board of Directors.

CODE OF ETHICS
As a Member of PPNC, all members will agree to:

Endeavor to maintain a dignity of manner in their behavior, in the presentation of their behavior, in the presentation of their photography and photographic services, in their appearance and that of their studio or place of business, and in all other forms of public contact

At all times endeavor to produce photographs of a quality equal or superior to the samples displayed, to apply their best efforts toward providing the best possible photographic craftsmanship.

Show a friendly spirit of cooperation to other photographers and assist them whenever possible should they be in trouble or difficulty.

To refrain from payments or "kick-backs" and/or commissions to persons, firms, and organizations for influence with consumers where such person, firm or organization renders no service.

To advertise only bona fide prices and products and to refrain from the use of "bait" advertising methods.

Assist other photographers and share their knowledge with them and encourage them individually and collectively to achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality.

Recognize the authority of this Association in all matters relating to the interpretation of this Code in accordance with the statues of the United States and the various state and the decisions of courts and the governmental agencies of competent jurisdiction.


Membership may be subject to approval by the board of directors.
